Okay, so some of you long time followers of Pens Universe no doubt also follow me on twitter. The days of @Jagrmeister are behind us, and the days of @PayCzech lie ahead. What's that mean, who knows. But I digress.
For the past month now I've been participating in a program sponsored by Verizon Wireless and ComBlu. What they did was round up some of the internets most sophisticated bloggers (like myself, snark!) and got us together in Chicago for a few days to party! Well, not entirely. Though we did go to the Bears/Rams game and I can tell you there was a few pre/mid/post game adult beverages enjoyed. *wink*

The real purpose for our visit was to get an overview of what would we'd all be participating in for the next few months. In a nutshell, each of us was given the latest device from Verizon (the RAZR M) to test out and share our experiences with the device. Primarily the goal is to see how it enhances (affects) our life in relation to sports. We're all sports bloggerss on teams from the Mid-West. Pittsburgh may be up for debate.
Nevertheless, while I've been participating for the past 3 weeks, I haven't posted anything on the blog, though I have on twitter (hence the first paragraph). I know, I'm all over the place; I didn't think through my paragraph structure very well.
Long story short, the RAZR thus far is tremendous. No, they're not paying me to say this. Though if you have owned (or currently own) a HTC Thunderbolt like myself, you would understand right from the get-go!
From the battery life, to the hotspot, to the amolded screen, to their 4G network. Everything on this phone is pure gold! You're going to hear from me on this over the next few months, probably until football season is overwith. Here's to hoping I can share some thoughts on the value it has on the NHL fan.

So you are just going to review a phone for Verizon and tell us how good or bad it is, on a site dedicated for Hockey?
Intentionally, it won't be simply to review the phone for the phone, but rather how it enhances my experience as a sports fan. In my case, how it impacts my experience with the NHL. Worry not, readers will not be bombarded with post after post.
