Shero held a conference media call soon after the signings were announced. The cliffsnotes are the Penguins were never on Parise's or Suter's radar. Also, Shero seems content holding steady with the meat left out on the market. Sounds like he's willing to listen to trade offers, and if the right one comes along (without overpaying) he's pulling the trigger.
