With the 20th overall selection in the 2010 NHL entry draft, General Manager Ray Shero and the Pittsburgh Penguins selected winger Beau Bennett from the BCHL's Penticton.
Bennett, who is listed at 6'1, 175 lbs, scored 120 points (41 G, 79 A) in 56 games in the 2009-10 season.
According to TSN draft analysts, who had Bennett listed as the 18th best player in the draft, Bennett is "physically immature", but has massive upside. He's still years away from cracking the NHL ranks, but it appears that, once again, Pens fans should be very content with the Pens draft and scouting departments.
