Well guys the Pens come back home to the Igloo tonight for a game five vs. the Habs. After game one most people in this city were calling for a sweep. The problem is, its the NHL playoffs and its not a sprint to the finals. At the beginning of this series if you asked true Penguins fans how many games it would take for the Pens to win this series they most likely said 6. The PensUniverse poll indeed validates this point. If you're one of those who said six games then you sit here confident. We're still on track.
Since game one this series has been about second chances and plain old lucky bounces. Montreal's 3rd goal in game 4 was a lucky bounce. Blaming Fleury or any other Penguin just isn't intelligent.
News out of Pens morning skate is that Bill Guerin will start tonight. Mike Rupp will be a game time decision. Both skated on the top four lines in practice. Another huge development is that Alex Ponikarovsky will be a healthy scratch for tonight. I don't think Poni has played bad in these playoffs but he hasn't been the scoring winger we hoped playing along Malkin. Remember Sykora?

My three keys for tonights game:
1.) Keep the pedal down - start fast and keep the intensity for 60+ minutes
2.) Project Fleury - clear the rebounds, take out the players around the net
3.) Sid the Kid - he's been quiet, time for him to lead us to victory
