Wow, been looking at the schedule all week saw the one PM puck drop and still can't seem to find the mind set that they are actually playing this afternoon. The Penguins are coming off one of the best performances of the season but something was still missing. Goal tending. Hey I'll give Marc Andre Fleury a break on that one, the offense was there to save the day and get the W. He will do the same one night when we can't find the back of the net. Heck he did have a two week vacation, when he should have started for team Canada. Yes I said it, and said it when the teams were announced.
My Keys for Tonight's Game will remain the same.
1.) Power Play - we scored, we won...lets keep the streak
2.) Fore Check - 55 shots to 16, yea that worked.
3.) Fleury - get back into rhythm.
Here are the highlights from last year.
Alert for all FSN Pittsburgh watchers, around 1:20 the television signal will go out, for about 2-4 minutes because of a "solar event".
The Penguins had an optional practice on Friday and only a few players skated, however Alex Ponikarovsky did. How this will effect lines for tonight, crap afternoon, i don't know? So here it goes:
Dupuis-Malkin-Fedotenko
Cooke-Staal-Kennedy
Rupp-Talbot-Adams
(Ponikarovsky)
Orpik-Letang
Leopold-Goligoski
