The halfway point of Mellon Arena's last season is quickly approaching and we here at Pens Universe are still looking for your favorite memories from our beloved arena. And if celebrating the only home the Penguins has ever had isn't enough on its own, we are excited to announce a new prize that will be given away.
The wonderful people at the Mario Lemieux Foundation have been generous enough to donate a hockey puck autographed by Super Mario himself to be awarded to one lucky Mellon Memories submission.
If you have already sent in a story you are already eligible for this giveaway. If you haven't yet, then please send your most memorable stories of the Mellon Arena to mellon.memories@pensuniverse.com and be entered into the drawing to win the autographed Mario Lemieux puck. Every story that we receive will be posted on Pens Universe.
And remember, these memories do not necessarily need to be about Penguins games. As long as your memory occurred at the arena, we want to see it. Even if it is just a story your parents or some other family member told you about the arena, send it in. We want to know about it. And who knows, you might end up with a puck signed by the greatest Penguin ever!
