KDKA blog Pittsburgh Sports Insider is reporting that Sergei Gonchar will dress for tonight’s game.
The blog post reads:
“I’ve been informed by two sources that injured Pens defenseman Sergei Gonchar will attempt to play in Game 7 tonight vs. Washington. Gonchar took part in the morning skate and will wear a brace during tonight’s game. The amount of playing time Gonchar will receive is still uncertain. There’s a chance that he’ll only play on the power play but that could change depending on how his knee feels. KDKA-TV’s Jory Rand is in Washington and will have more on this story tonight on KDKA-TV News at 5 and 6.”
