Penguins To Collect Donations

The Pittsburgh Penguins will collect donations for the "Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund" before this Thursday's 7:30 game against the New York Islanders at Mellon Arena. "The Pittsburgh Penguins organization joins the community in extending deepest sympathy to the families and friends of these three brave officers," said team president David Morehouse. "By holding a collection at Thursday's game we will enable our fans to contribute to the Fallen Heroes Fund, which will assist the officers' families." Checks may be made out to the "Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund." The Penguins also will collect cash donations.
